Deep Kiss of Winter

(Imortals After Dark, Book 8)
by Kresley Cole

Daniela, Dani, is a delicate half Valkryie half, have ice fey making her skin ice cold. If touched by anyone, but her kind, she suffers deep burning pain from the skin to skin contact. All she's ever wanted is to be loved and held without pain but being chased by her mothers killer who wants Daniela's rightful throne makes things very dangerous.

Murdoch Wroth is one of the legendary Wroth Brothers. Part of the fierce and brave warrior Wroth family turned vampire, but in history he is known as the man-whore. After three-hundred years, he's found his true Bride, Daniela, but she can't be touched.   Dani is desperate for closeness and Murdoch is frustrated with his new found situation. Both must figure out a way to face their fears and find a way to be together…drama never had it so good. :)

This book makes 'playing' in the snow a frosty delight. Who knew I'd want to roll around in the snow with an anit-commitment ridden vampire…well, almost. Great action, saved in the nick-of-time suspense, and some very new and creatitive uses for ice! I think I can see Ms. Cole's direction for the IAD series and I can't wait for the ACCESSION, well yes I can, I want Nix's story eventually; Goddess Nix has a pretty good ring to it.

For more of IAD happenings go to Kresley Cole Official Website and thanks to eBooks.com again for providing the mobipocket digital format for my nokia n810.

I didn't read Gena Showalter's story yet, because it would be out of order…I'll read it later, when it's in the correct sequence. :)
