1 star — Goodreads interprets this as "didn't like it".  It was a book.  I just kept picking it up and setting it down, finally giving up and Did Not Finish.

2 stars — Goodreads interprets this as "it was okay".  It was an okay read, I really wanted to like it but I couldn't get into it like I hoped and just kept skimming or even skipping parts.

3 stars — Goodreads interprets this as "liked it".  It was a good read, something you'll walk away from smiling.

4 stars – Goodreads interprets this as "really liked it".  I really liked the book, go pick it up and you'll get lost in it.

5 stars — Goodreads interprets this as "it was amazing". I liked everything about this book, I don't ever re-read a book, but I will think about the book non-stop!  I has to take me to a new world, one that I don't want to leave!
